Significant protests and demonstrations occurred across Nepal during September 2025. Protests resulted in violent clashes leading to a number of deaths and injuries. Although demonstrations have since eased, the situation remains unpredictable and local authorities may enforce curfews at short notice. Follow the instructions of local authorities, and avoid areas affected by civil unrest, protests, and other public gatherings.
