There is some risk to your security in Cambodia.

As there is a region-wide warning out about the possibility of terrorist attacks in Southeast Asia, we advise travelers to be cautious. Travelers should be security conscious around places where westerners gather, including landmark sites, and resorts popular with foreigners.

We advise you not to go off main routes in rural areas and to be careful around temple complexes. Mined areas are often unmarked.
